“Kurva Fix” is the selection of pupils works from Karlin elementary school in Prague combined with the video documentations from the teaching process by Petra Pětiletá(she was teaching for three moths there) and my childhood photographs. The theme of the exhibition was naughtiness and show off - the type of energy which is kept under control or censored, and usually not used for creative reasons. Disarmed, non taboo and liberated works of pupils show - sexual tension, vulgarity and it’s adoration, no interest, contemporary consumptive culture and everyday violence. We know all about that, but we have to come closer to be touched.

Pro výstavu “Kurva fix” jsme udělali společný kurátorský výběr od žáků karlínské základní školy, kde Petra tři měsíce vyučovala Výtvarnou výchovu, a doplnili to vlastními prácemi. Téma této výstavy je zlo-bivost a předvádění se před ostatními, respektive přesně ten typ energie, která se metodicky drží pod pokličkou a se kterou se nepracuje ve smyslu kreativity. Naprosto odzbrojující netabuizovaná uvolněnost v žákovských pracích, ukazuje sexualní napětí, vulgaritu a její nedospělou oblibu, nezájem, současnou spotřební kulturu, kde je násilí každodenností. Tohle všechno víme, ale je dobré přistoupit blíže, aby nás to “trklo”.
